What is a good back to school look for someone who has green eyes?

i have a round face and almond shaped eyes. i'm going to be a freshman this fall. :) and i'm not sure what kind of makeup would look good on me. i like to wear black eyeliner because it makes me look gothic. what colors would compliment green eyes? what's a good look? step by step instructions? i'm new to makeup and don't want to look gothic so help me please :)
