When i upgrade my ram will i need to do anything in windows to make my pc recognize the upgrade?

Im planning to upgrade from 2x2gb ram 1333mhz ddr3 ram to 2x4gb 1333mhz ddr3 ram, will i need to go through any installation settings on windows or will my pc automatically recognize my upgrade?
