Can i upgrade my gpu on my computer or do i have to buy a new computer?

as long as your motherboard has the slot for one, you can add or replace the old one...but in doing so...you will most likely also need a new power supply since the old one was probably enough to compensate for the current one...make sure you get the right slotted one...really old = agp most likely and newer = PCI-E
